Welcome to another program year

We’re excited to continue offering business customers incentives and technical incentives as we embark on Program Year 15 of the PPL Business Energy Efficiency Program. As previously communicated, eligible incentive levels have reverted to the previous phase incentives effective June 1, 2023:

• Lighting & Efficient Equipment: $0.05/kWh
• Custom Projects: $0.06/kWh
• Direct Discount Program: $0.10/kWh
• CHP/Solar: $0.03/kWh

Reminders

• Customers with a residential rate code are no longer eligible to participate in the PPL Business Energy Efficiency Program offerings. This includes both the Downstream (Custom & Efficient Equipment) and the Instant Discounts Program. Any project that has received pre-approval before February 24, 2023, will receive incentives based on the final project savings.
• As of June 1, 2023, all applications submitted must meet the requirements of DLC SSL v5.1 to be eligible for incentives. All prior applications pre-approved before June 1, 2023, using v5.0 will be allowed to receive incentives once construction is completed. Projects that have purchased v5.0 eligible equipment before June 1, 2023, will be considered eligible for incentives based on purchase date as the only exception. All equipment purchased on or after June 1, 2023, will be required to meet the requirements of DLC SSL v5.1.
• Effective July 1, 2023, pre-approval may be waived on custom compressor and compressed air projects when project savings can still be accurately captured without pre-approval. Contact your account manager or PPLBusiness@clearesult.com if you have a project underway or recently completed.

Direct Discount Program

As of June 1, qualified projects submitted through the Direct Discount Program are eligible for a $0.10/kWh incentive. Projects require pre-approval before construction begins.

Instant Discounts Program

New instant discounts and eligible measures for lighting, HVAC and food service took effect on June 1, 2023.
