Exciting program updates and new incentives for 2025

The PPL Business Energy Efficiency Program values your partnership and is committed to making our programs even more effective for you and your customers. Recently, we’ve been holding contractor interviews to gather valuable insights. We appreciate everyone who took time to meet with us and provide feedback, and we are excited to announce several changes based on your suggestions.
 

Increased incentives for LCI customers


Effective March 1, 2025, incentives for LCI customers with LP4 and LP5 rate codes have increased to:  
  • Prescriptive Lighting & Efficient Equipment: $0.10/kWh
  • Custom Projects: $0.15/kWh
  • Projects that will complete by May 31, 2026 (including time for M&V) are eligible for this increased incentive rate. CHP and Solar projects are not eligible for this increase and will remain at $0.08/kWh.

Limited-time compressed air trade ally incentive — earn up to $1,500


From February 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025, trade allies can earn a finder’s fee for successful compressed air project applications.
  • Submit a Compressed Air Application – Earn $1,500
    • Submit a compressed air application on behalf of a customer.
    • Work with our team to provide all required project data.
    • Receive $1,500 once the project is successfully closed and the customer incentive is processed.
  • Provide a Compressed Air Lead – Earn $500
    • Introduce the program team to a customer with a compressed air project.
    • Leads must be submitted via email to PPLBusiness@clearesult.com.
    • If the lead results in an eligible project, you will earn $500.
Eligibility: Applies to projects completed within the past 180 days. Future compressed air projects submitted in good order by May 31, 2025, and completed by May 31, 2026, are also eligible.

 

Direct Discount update


New! Custom offering for Direct Discount

Effective March 1, 2025, custom projects submitted through Direct Discount will now be eligible for $0.15/kWh — meeting all other program criteria. These custom projects can include process improvement, compressed air, chiller optimization, building tune-ups, commissioning and more! Solar and CHP projects are not eligible through Direct Discount.

 

Introducing our new energy auditor


Congratulations to Jared Albert on his promotion to Associate Account Manager! Jared will now work with our broader Trade Ally Network while remaining available as a program resource. We’d like to introduce our new energy auditor, Danielle (Dee) Zambelli. Dee joined the program team in January and has been working closely with Jen and Jared to understand program details and requirements. She will be out in the field conducting verifications and may reach out to customers and contractors to complete program verifications.
