Updated project document requirements
Project applications now only require a W-9 for the party that is receiving the incentive. If the incentive for the project is going to a third party, please use the approved third-party payee form and provide the corresponding W-9. If you have any questions about required documentation for your application, reach out to your program team. | |
Direct Discount Program
Data logging – Please contact
Madison Kubat with any large project submissions that may require data logging. Early communication will help us coordinate with our engineering team and prevent delays in the pre-approval process.
Contractor training – As a reminder, participating Direct Discount Program contractor lists are reviewed semi-annually. If you have not completed a project since the beginning of Phase IV and would like to remain a Direct Discount Program contractor, please attend our online contractor training. This is a convenient self-guided online course that can be accessed through our
training portal. Click on Create your account, register and after receiving your email confirmation, navigate to the training center and enter participation code:
PPL_001.
New contractors interested in becoming a Direct Discount Program contractor may also attend this training and will be listed on our website once all required contractor documentation is received.

Coming soon! New measures for instant discounts – HVAC and food service equipment
We will soon offer instant discounts for HVAC and food service equipment through our participating distributors to allow PPL business customers to save money and energy, faster and easier. Similar to our Instant Lighting Discounts Program, an instant discount is provided at point of sale and no application is needed. HVAC and food service equipment are typically replaced upon burnout, and instant discounts offer customers savings that allow them to immediately replace eligible equipment. Stay tuned for a list of eligible equipment and incentives.
If you know of an HVAC or food service distributor who may be interested in being a partner in the Instant Discounts Program, please reach out to
Paul Haasz.
