June 2025 Contractor Newsletter
Program phase reminder
We are now in the last program year of the phase. Please keep this in mind as you discuss projects with customers and quote incentives and savings. All projects completed by May 31, 2026, will be eligible for the current incentive rate. If a project is completed on or after June 1, 2026, projects should still be submitted to the program, and we will send a phase 5 letter outlining the project’s eligibility. |
We hope you enjoyed the contractor appreciation events
Thank you to those who attended our contractor appreciation events. We appreciate the work you’ve done in the program over the past year and look forward to acknowledging your hard work and dedication in the future. |
Solar reminder
As of April 1, 2025, pre-approvals are no longer required for solar projects. Pre-approval is still strongly encouraged to ensure accurate program savings calculations and incentive eligibility. All solar projects will still require:
-
A signed IIR (to factor costs into TRC scores)
-
A COC submitted before the project incentive payment can be processed
If you have any questions about this update, please don’t hesitate to reach out to PPLBusiness@clearesult.com. |
Increased incentives for LCI customers
As of March 1, 2025, incentives for LCI customers with LP4 and LP5 rate codes have increased to:
-
Prescriptive Lighting and Efficient Equipment: $0.10/kWh
-
Custom Projects: $0.15/kWh
Projects that will be completed by May 31, 2026 (including time for M&V), are eligible for this increased incentive rate. CHP and solar projects are not eligible for this increase and will remain at $0.08/kWh. |
Direct Discount reminder
As of March 1, 2025, custom projects submitted through Direct Discount are eligible for $0.15/kWh — if they meet all other program criteria. These custom projects can include process improvements, compressed air, chiller optimization, building tune-ups, commissioning and more. Solar and CHP projects are not eligible.
Small Business Account Managers Mariah Kern and Carrie Gauweiler support our Direct Discount contractors and our small business customers. They are available to support you in the field, help with project submissions and assist customers with the Direct Discount process. |
Contact Dee Zambelli
We’re excited to have Danielle “Dee” Zambelli as our energy auditor. Since January, she has developed a strong understanding of program details and requirements. She will continue to conduct verifications in the field and may also reach out to customers and contractors to complete program verifications. If you have any questions, Dee can be reached at Danielle.Zambelli@clearesult.com. |
Midstream updates
We’re expanding our Midstream Program with new measures and incentives. Starting June 1, incentives for LED high bay/low bay fixtures and linear fixtures and kits will increase. Additionally, fixtures with occupancy sensors will now qualify for incentives. Check our website for the updated flyers and incentives to share with your customers. For any midstream questions, please reach out to Randy.Levan@clearesult.com or PPLInstantDiscount@clearesult.com. |
Help us stay connected
We would like to attend more in-person events in your area. If you know of any upcoming industry, trade ally or live events, please let us know by emailing PPLBusiness@clearesult.com. |
