New year, new incentives!
In 2021, we gave business customers nearly $10 million in incentives and saved them almost 150 million kWh! We’re pleased to offer an increase in incentives as of January 1, 2022:

Lighting and Efficient Equipment |
$0.075/kWh and $215/kW |

Custom |
$0.075/kWh and $250/kW |

CHP/Solar |
$0.00/kWh and $1,000/kW |
|
Direct Discount Program |
$0.15/kWh and $215/kW |
Any project that is submitted, or has a completion date of January 1, 2022, or later will be eligible to receive the new incentive amount.
Pre-approval requirement change — Beginning February 14, 2022, pre-approval will no longer be required for lighting and efficient equipment projects through our standard downstream program. All lighting and efficient equipment projects not receiving pre-approval must be submitted, with all documentation in good order, within 180 days of the project completion date. Custom projects and incentives offered through our Direct Discount Program will still require pre-approval prior to construction beginning.
New project estimators — Our project estimators have been updated to reflect the new incentives. Be sure to download the most current versions on our Calculators & Estimators webpage.

Instant Discounts Program
Products and incentives — There are no changes to the Instant Discounts Program as we continue into 2022. Please keep doing what you’re doing to continue to make it a big success!

Direct Discount Program
A reminder to our current Direct Discount Program contractors: if you have not submitted projects in the past six months, you will need to retake the Direct Discount contractor training to be relisted as a Direct Discount contractor and gain access to the new assessment tools on the website. Please contact Melissa Stambaugh.
