October is Energy Awareness Month

This year marks the 30^th anniversary of National Energy Awareness Month—a great time to talk to your customers about energy efficiency upgrades, especially if you’re already performing other projects for them. Not only can you offer our attractive incentives, but be sure to tell them about the other benefits of making upgrades, such as fewer lost workdays for employees and more comfortable tenants.

New Small Business Direct Install Program now available

Our new Small Business Direct Install (SBDI) Program helps eligible small business customers save energy with a complimentary energy assessment and the installation of no-cost energy-efficient products by our own Energy Technician. PPL customers with a GS1 or GS3 rate code with a monthly demand of 200 kW or less are eligible to participate.

Each customer will receive a follow-up report outlining additional energy efficiency opportunities, providing an opportunity to partner with our contractors. Visit our SBDI webpage to learn more.

Direct Discount Program

Are you overlooking incentives for refrigeration and compressed air for your small business customers? The PPL Direct Discount Program offers $0.10 per kWh and $185 per kW saved annually, up to 80 percent of the project cost or up to $500,000.

Turn back the clocks and turn on the instant savings

As the days grow shorter this fall, your customers will be using their lights more. This will lead to them noticing burnouts and increased energy use. Help your customers by reaching out and recommending upgrades to energy-efficient LEDs.

To make that even easier, use our Instant Discounts for Lighting Program. Customers provide you with their PPL account number, which you will give to your preferred participating distributor. The distributor will fulfill your customers’ lighting needs with LEDs at a reduced selling price. No application needed.

New Combined Heat and Power flyer available

Customers are becoming more interested in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects, and we have incentives of $1,000 per summer peak kW demand to help! To learn more, visit our CHP webpage and feel free to use our new marketing flyer to speak to your customers about the savings potential.
