Solar incentives reminder
Reminder: On December 7, 2022, solar incentives will change to align with the custom incentives of $.075/kWh and $250/peak kW. All solar project incentives will be calculated and paid based on energy usage displaced from PPL Electric Utilities’ system. Customers without kWh load offset by solar are not eligible for incentives.
To receive pre-approval, you must have a service and interconnection application submitted with PPL Electric Utilities. For assistance, reach out to Businessaccounts@pplweb.com.
If you’d like to receive the current incentive of $1,000 per peak kW demand, you need to submit your solar installation application, along with all the required documentation needed for pre-approval, no later than 11:59 p.m. on December 6, 2022.

DLC® qualified products reminder
Products that meet the requirements of SSL v4.4 will continue to be accepted on new applications through December 31, 2022. All projects using SSL v4.4 product will need to be submitted, installed and paid prior to May 31, 2023, in order to be eligible for incentives. Due to this deadline, SSL v4.4 will no longer be eligible for pre-approval in 2023 to allow for installation and evaluation time. |

Direct Discount Program
Don’t forget that we offer incentives on compressed air and HVAC measures such as VFD compressors, air source heat pumps, ductless mini-split heat pumps and more. Incentives are $0.16 kWh and $250 per summer peak kW saved annually, up to 80% of the project cost or up to $500,000. Pre-approval is required. Learn more.

Please submit your payment requests as soon as possible. With the upcoming holidays, we want to ensure you and your customers can successfully close out 2022 projects and financing.
If you haven’t completed a project in the past six months, act now to avoid being removed from our Direct Discount Program contractor list. |
