Incentive increases, new measures and program enhancements coming July 1
Direct Discount Program:
Starting July 1, 2024, we’ll be increasing customer incentives on interior lighting and efficient equipment from $0.10/kWh to $0.15/kWh. In addition to the incentive increase, bulbs and tubes will now qualify for an incentive through the Direct Discount Program. Instant Discount for Lighting:
As the Instant Discounts Program matures, the program team continues to look for ways to remove barriers and increase participation. Therefore, starting July 1, 2024, pre-approval is only required for interior projects receiving an incentive of over $20,000, an increase from the previous $3,000 requirement, and there is no pre-approval requirement for exterior lighting projects. Incentive increase for custom projects:
Lower your customers' costs for upgrading equipment with higher incentives. Starting July 1, 2024, custom projects will now receive an incentive of $0.08/kWh, an increase from $0.06/kWh. If you have any questions, please reach out via email.

Now available: Incentives for HVAC tune-ups and ENERGY STAR® certified thermostats
Customers can get up to $125 off HVAC tune-ups and $15 off smart thermostats. These incentives are available through both our downstream and Direct Discount programs.
HVAC tune-up and smart thermostat measures have been added to the HVAC estimator, which must be submitted with the application.
Customers who do not have a current HVAC maintenance contract and have not completed a tune-up in the past three years may be eligible for incentives. |
